Navigator Directory

Storing names and telephone numbers into the navigator directory

For rapid access to frequently dialed numbers, the unit provides the navigator directory. You can store the names and telephone numbers using both the handset and base unit up to 50 entries in total. First program the entries, then see page 47 to make a phone call.

LYou can also send faxes using the navigator directory (page 58).

Using the handset

1	Press {FUNCTION}.

	Press {>}.
	Example:
		Directory=

		Enter name
		()	V=Next

	Enter the name, up to 10 characters (see
	the character table).

Example: Enter name Tom Jones

() V=Next

LPressing the {#} key will change to capital or lower-case alternatively.

4 Press {v}.

Enter phone no.

5 Enter the telephone number, up to 30 digits, using the dial keypad.

Example: 3334444

() V=Next

6 Press {v}.

Example: Tom Jones 3334444 ^=Edit )=Save

7 Press {>}.

LTo program other entries, repeat steps 2 to 7.

8 Press {OFF} to exit the program.

LFor your convenience, HELP-FAX (1-800- 435-7329) has been pre-programmed. If you cannot solve a problem, call using this entry (page 47). If unnecessary, you can erase it

(page 45).

LTo enter another character using the same number key, press {>}to move the cursor to the next space.

LIf there is no space to store new entries, the following is displayed.

Erase unnecessary entries (page 45).
