Recording your own greeting message

You can record your own greeting message for TAD/FAX mode. The recording time will be limited to 16 seconds. We recommend you record a massage less than 12 seconds in length to make it easier to receive faxes.

Suggested message for TAD/FAX greeting:“This is (your name, business and/or telephone number). We are unable to answer right now. To send a fax, start transmission. To leave a message, speak after the beep. Thank you.”

Note:

L You can choose 60 seconds for your own TAD/FAX greeting message (feature #54, page 91).

– If you change to 60 seconds, we recommend that you tell the caller in your own TAD/FAX greeting message to press *9 before starting fax transmission.

– If you change to 16 seconds from 60 seconds, your own TAD/FAX greeting message will be deleted. When receiving a call, the pre-recorded greeting message will be played.

LThe unit will repeat your message. Adjust the volume using {+} or {-}.
