A Open the battery compartment.
B Insert two batteries type R06 or AA, following the indications
C Close the cover.
CAUTION!
–Remove batteries if they are exhausted or if the remote control is not to be used for a long time.
–Do not mix batteries (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.).
–Batteries contain chemical substances, so they should be disposed of properly.
A Aim the remote control directly at the remote sensor (iR) on the front panel.
B Select the desired function (for example

).
C To control other devices using this remote control, press SELECT DEVICE to select the mode you wish to control (for example SACD, TV).
The selected source mode
will light up on the LED panel for a few seconds to confirm your selection.
Using the alphanumeric keypad to enter the characters
–Press a number button repeatedly until the required character or the number appears.
–To enter
characters, press 
or 
on the corresponding character, e.g.,: ‘å’ press button {2} for ‘a’ and then press 
until ‘å’ appears.
–To enter special symbols, press button {1} repeatedly.
–To select upper/lower case (capital/ small) letters, press a/A.
–To enter a space, press button {1}.
