1DVD(DVD-V) indicator
Showswhen a DVD video is playing.
2Titlenumber indicator
Showsthe title currently playing.
!Onthe head units display, if the elapsed
playingtime of current chapter is more
than100 minutes, Tin the title number
indicatordisappears.
3Playtime indicator
Showsthe elapsed playing time of the cur-
rentchapter.
4dtsindicator
Showsthe DTS is on when the multi-chan-
nelprocessor (DEQ-P7650) is connected to
thisunit.
5DolbyDigital indicator
Showswhen the Dolby Digital is turned on.
6Chapternumber indicator
Showsthe chapter currently playing.
Basic operation of DVD video
1 Usethe joystick to select the desired
menuoption.
Whenthe DVD offers a menu, a menu is dis-
played.
2 Clickthe joystick.
Playbackstarts from the selected menu item.
#Youcan display the menu by pressing the
MENUor TOP MENU (TOP.M) while a disc is
playing.Pressing either of these buttons again
letsyou start playback from the location selected
fromthe menu. For details, refer to the instruc-
tionsprovided with the disc.
#Theway to display the menu differs depending
onthe disc.
3 Toperform fast forward or reverse,
pressand hold mor n.
#Ifyou continue pressing mor nfor five
seconds,the color of the icon m/nchanges
fromwhite to blue. When this happens, fast re-
verse/fastforward continues even if you release
morn. To resume playback at a desired
point,press f.
#Fastforward/fast reverse may not be possible
atcertain locations on some discs. If this hap-
pens,normal playback automatically resumes.
