Adjusting 3-band parametricequalizer
For CUSTOM1and CUSTOM2 equalizer
curves,you can adjust thefront, rear and cen-
terequalizer curves separatelyby selecting a
centerfrequency, an equalizer level and a Q
factorfor each band.
!Aseparate CUSTOM1 curve can be cre-
atedfor each source.
!ACUSTOM2curve canbe created com-
monto all sources.
!Thecenter speaker largely determines the
soundimage and getting the balance right
isnteasy. We recommend reproducing a 2-
ch.audio (a CD for example) and getting
thebalance right among the speakers ex-
ceptfor the center, and then reproducing a
5.1-ch.audio (Dolby Digital or DTS) and ad-
justingthe center speaker output to the
balanceyou have already got among the
otherspeakers.
1 PressA and hold until FRONT appears
inthe display, then press A to select PEQ.
AfterFRONT is displayed, press Auntil PEQ
appearsin the display.
#AdjustedPEQ settings are memorized in
CUSTOM1.
2 Pressror qto select the speaker to
beadjusted.
Eachpress of ror qselects the speaker in
thefollowing order:
FRT(front speakers)CEN (center speaker)
RER(rear speakers)
#Youcannot select speakers whose size is set
atOFF.
3 Pressnand then press ror qto
selectthe equalizer band to be adjusted.
Eachpress of ror qselects equalizer
bandsin the following order:
LOW(low)MID (mid)HI (high)
4 Pressnand then press ror qto
selectthe center frequency of selected
band.
Eachpress of ror qselects the frequency
inthe following order:
