Pausing CD playback
Pauselets you temporarily stop disc playback.
1 PressF to select PAUSE.
PressFuntil PAUSE appears in the display.
2 Pressrto turn pause on.
PAUSE:ONappears in the display. Play of the
currenttrack pauses.
3 Pressqto turn pause off.
PAUSE:OFFappears in the display. Play will re-
sumeat the same point that you turned pause
on.
Note
Pressfon the remote control repeatedly dur-
ingplayback to turn pause on or off.
Using ITS playlists
ITS(instant track selection) lets you make a
playlistof favorite tracks from those in the
multi-CDplayer magazine. After youhave
addedyour favorite tracks to the playlistyou
canturn on ITS play and play just those selec-
tions.

Creatinga playlist with ITS

programming

Youcan use ITS to enter and play back up to
99tracks per disc, up to 100 discs (with the
disctitles). (With multi-CD players sold before
theCDX-P1250 and CDX-P650, up to 24 tracks
canbe stored in the playlist.)
1 Playa CD that you want to program.
Pressror qto select a CD.
2 PressF and hold until TITLE IN appears
inthe display, then press F to select ITS.
AfterTITLE IN is displayed, press Frepeatedly,
thefollowing functions appear in the display:
TITLEIN (disc title input)ITS (ITS program-
ming)
3 Selecta desired track by pressing m
orn.
4 Pressrto store the currently playing
trackin the playlist.
ITSIN is displayed briefly and the currently
playingselection is added to your playlist. The
displaythen shows ITS again.
5 PressBAND to return to the playback
display.
Note
Afterdata for 100 discs has been stored in mem-
ory,data for a new disc will overwrite the oldest
one.

Playback from your ITS playlist

ITSplay lets you listen to the tracks that you
haveentered into your ITS playlist. When you
turnon ITS play, tracks from your ITS playlist
inthe multi-CD player willbegin to play.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 PressF to select ITS-P.
PressFuntil ITS-P appears in the display.
3 Pressrto turn ITS play on.
ITS-P:ONappears in the display. Playback be-
ginsof those tracks from your playlist within
thepreviously selected MCD or DSC ranges.
#Ifno tracks in the current range are pro-
grammedfor ITS play then EMPTY is displayed.
