Using the time alignment
Onlywhen the multi-channel processor (e.g.,
DEQ-P7650)is connected to this unit, you can
operatethis function.
Thetime alignment lets you adjust the dis-
tancebetween each speaker and the listening
position.

Adjusting the time alignment

Byadjusting the distance between each
speakerand a selected listening position, you
caninsert delay times into the speaker output
toobtain a correct sound image and overall
levelbalance. Although this is automatically
achievedwhen you set the listening position,
thetime alignment feature provides a fine ad-
justment.
1 PressA and hold until FRONT appears
inthe display, then press A to select FL.
AfterFRONT is displayed, press Auntil FL ap-
pearsin the display.
