Chapter 2 - Hardware Installation

5.Turn on the power by pressing on the power switch located on the rear panel of the MGC-100 unit.

Connecting the MGC-100 to the LAN Network

Connect one end of a network cable to the LAN connector on the rear panel of the MGC-100 and the other end to the network.

Connecting the MGC-100 to the Operator Workstation (PC) Directly via RS-232 (Optional)

Connect one end of an RS-232 cable to the COM2 connector on the front panel of the MGC-100 Control Unit and the other end to the serial port of the operator station (see RS-232 Pin Assignment, A-3).
