Groups

If you frequently send the same mes-
sage to more than one place, program
these numbers into a Group. Then
you can send the messages to all the
destinations in that Group with just a
few keystrokes. You can also pro-
gram a name for the Group (for exam-
ple, “Branch Offices”) which will be
displayed before you press the {
Start
}
key.
Preparation
You need to program the Groups.

Limitation
A Quick Dial programmed for
Group cannot be used for other
functions.
Group Dial can be used only for
Memory Transmission and Polling
reception; it cannot be used for Im-
mediate Transmission.
Note
Groups are only available with
Memory Transmission and Polling
reception.
To check the contents of the
Groups, print the list.
You can program up to 9 Groups.
You can store up to 232 destina-
tions in a Group. If a Quick Dial or
Speed Dial is registered in two
Groups, it takes up the space of
one destination.

ASet your original and select any
scan settings you require.
BPress the Quick Dial key in which
the Group is programmed.
The Group number is shown on
the display. If the Group name is
programmed, the name is also
shown on the display.
Note
If you make a mistake, press the
{
Clear/Stop
} key and start again.
If you wish to dial another des-
tination, press [
Add
] and dial an-
other fax number.
CPress the {

Start
}
}}
} key.

Redial

The machine memorizes the last 10
destinations that have been dialed. If
you wish to send a message to a des-
tination which you faxed to recently,
the Redial feature saves you finding
and entering the number again.
