Non-recommended originals for the document feeder

Placing the following types of originals in the document feeder can cause paper misfeeds or result in damage to the originals. Place these originals on the expo- sure glass instead.

•Originals other than those specified in p.5 “Sizes and Weights of Recom- mended Originals”

•Stapled or clipped originals

•Perforated or torn originals
