Copying

APress the [Cover/Slip Sheet] key.

CSelect [Copy] or [Blank] for the cov- er sheet.

DSelect the paper tray containing the non-cover sheet paper, and then press the [OK] key.

EPlace your originals in the docu- ment feeder, and then press the

{Start}key.

Designate

Use this function to have certain pag- es of your original copied onto slip sheets.

Preparation

Before using this function, set the special paper tray for slip sheets.

Note

❒The paper for the slip sheets should be the same size as the copy paper and should be set in the same direction.

❒If you have selected "Interposer" for "Slip Sheet 2 Tray" in System Settings, you cannot copy on the slip sheets if you select "Slip Sheet 2".

❒You cannot select the bypass tray for the sheet paper to copy the originals.

❒You can specify the pages up to 20.

APress the [Cover/Slip Sheet] key.

BPress the [Desing./Chapter] key.

CPress the key to select the chapter number.

DEnter the page number of the orig- inal's location you want to copy onto a slip sheet with the number keys. Then, press the {#}key.

ESelect the paper tray for slip sheets.

FPress the [Copy] key to copy onto the slip sheets. Press the [Blank] key not to copy onto them.

GPress the [Next Chapter] key.

HTo specify another page location, repeat steps D to G.

IWhen you wish to finish specify- ing page location, press the [OK] key.

JPress the [OK] key.

KSelect the paper tray which con- tains the sheet paper to copy the originals.

LSet your originals, then press the {Start}key.
