Copying

Auto Start

Copy starts automatically when the machine is ready for copy.

ASet the copy contents while “Se- lect copy mode and press {Start}”

2 and “Scanning originals can be started” are displayed alternately.

BSet the original.

CPress the {Start}key.

The machine scans the original when the machine is ready for copy, it starts copying automatical- ly.

CWhen your copy job is fin- ished, remove the originals and copies.

DPress the {Interrupt}key again.

The Interrupt indicator goes off.

EWhen the display prompts you, set the remaining origi- nals again before interrupting.

FPress the {Start}key.

Note

❒The previous copy job set- tings will be restored and the machine will continue copy-

ing from where it left off, by pressing the {Start}key.

Interrupt Copy

Use this function if you wish to inter- rupt a long copy job to make urgently needed copies.

APress the {Interrupt}key.

APlace the originals you wish to copy.

BPress the {Start}key.

The machine stops the other original job and starts copying your original.

CWhen copying is complete, re- move the originals and copies.

DPress the {Interrupt}key again.

The Interrupt indicator goes off.

The previous copy job settings will be restored and the ma- chine will continue copying from where it left off.

When the originals stop scanning

ARemove the originals that were being copied and place the originals you wish to copy.

BPress the {Start}key.

The machine starts making your copies.

Original Beeper

The beeper sounds and an error mes- sage is displayed when you leave the originals on the exposure glass after copying.
