Transmitting Sound Settings/Reset to Default Factory Settings

Transmitting Sound Settings (Data Transfer)

Sound generator settings and system settings stored in the Fantom’s internal memory or on a Wave Expansion Board can be transmitted to an external MIDI device, or to user memory.

Transmitting Data to an External MIDI Device

Patch, rhythm set, multitimbre, performance, and setup and system settings will be transmitted to an external MIDI device. This operation is called bulk dump. Use this operation when you want to connect another Fantom and play it using the same settings, or to save your data on an external MIDI device as a precaution against possible loss of sound data or system settings.

To transmit data to an external MIDI device, connect the external MIDI device and Fantom as shown in the diagram.
