Inserting and Removing a Disc

When inserting a disc or closing the disc cover, do not apply excessive force. It may cause a malfunction.

You cannot open the disc cover while loading.

Set the [Mode] switch to [DISC] (VP-DC163(i)/ DC165W(i)/DC165WB(i) only) and the [Power] switch to [ (Camera)] to view menus and messages displayed on the LCD Screen.

Inserting a Disc

1.Push the [OPEN] switch in the direction of the arrow.

The disc cover will partially open.

2.Gently open the cover the rest of the way by hand.

3.Push the disc into the disc compartment until a click is heard.

The recording side of the disc must face the inside of the DVD camcorder.

Do not touch the pickup lens.

4.Gently push the section marked [PUSH CLOSE] on the disc cover to close it.

Once inserted, the disc is recognised and the [ACCESS] indicator blinks. Do not cut off the power supply during this time. Do not shake nor apply impact. It may cause a malfunction.

Notes

Move the Hand Strap so it does not interfere with inserting or ejecting the disc.

The disc cover can be opened when the device is connected to an AC power adapter or the battery pack, even if the power is off.

Caution

This product utilizes a laser. Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure. Do not open covers and do not look inside the product if interlock mechanism is damaged.

Warning

Be careful not to damage the interlock mechanism.

Inserción y extracción de discos

 Al insertar un disco o cerrar la cubierta del disco, no aplique excesiva fuerza. Podría hacer que la videocámara no funcionara bien.

 No puede abrir la cubierta del disco al cargar.

 Coloque el interruptor [Mode] en [DISC] (sólo VP- DC163(i)/DC165W(i)/DC165WB(i)) y el interruptor [Power] en [ (Camera)] para ver menús y mensajes en la pantalla LCD.

Inserción de un disco

	1.	Presione el interruptor [OPEN] en la dirección
		de la flecha.
	2.		La cubierta del disco se abrirá parcialmente.
		Abra suavemente la cubierta con la mano el espacio
	3.	restante.
		Introduzca el disco en el compartimento hasta que se
		oiga un clic.
			El lado de grabación de disco debe situarse hacia el
			interior de la cámara con DVD.
	4.		No toque la lente de captación.
		Empuje suavemente la sección marcada como
		[PUSH CLOSE] en la cubierta del disco para cerrarla.
			Una vez insertado el disco se reconoce con el
			indicador [ACCESS] parpadeando. Durante este
			proceso no corte el suministro eléctrico. No la agite
			ni la golpee. Podría hacer que la videocámara no
			funcionara bien.
	Notas
		Mueva la empuñadura para que no interfiera al insertar
		o expulsar el disco.
		La tapa del disco puede abrirse cuando el dispositivo
		esté conectado a un adaptador de CA o a la batería,
		incluso aunque esté apagado.
	Precaución
	Este producto utiliza un láser. El uso de controles o ajustes o la
	ejecución de procedimientos distintos a los especificados en este
	documento pueden dar como resultado la exposición peligrosa a
	radiaciones. No abra las tapas ni mire en el interior de la unidad si
	se daña el mecanismo de interbloqueo.
