Call Setup Options

You can configure the following calling options:

Abbrev.Dialingto prepend the first five or six digits (for example, the area code and prefix) to any four or five digits you enter.

ContactsMatch to retrieve any number saved in your Contacts by entering only the last three to six digits of the number.

Restriction to restrict incoming or outgoing calls on your phone.

CallAnswer to set up how you answer incoming calls.

Auto-Answerto answer incoming calls automatically when using an optional hands-free car kit.

Setting Abbreviated Dialing

ToactivatethePrependfeature:

1.Press Menu>Settings>More...>CallSetup> Abbrev.Dial>On.

2.Enter the first five- or six-digit prefix in the Abbrev. Dial field and then press .

To deactivate this feature, select Off during step 1 above.

Tip	To make an Abbreviated Dial call, see “Using
	Abbreviated Dialing” on page 33.
Note	This setting does not apply to 911 or Sprint 411.

ToactivatetheContactsMatchfeature:

1.Press Menu>Settings>More...>CallSetup.

2.Select ContactsMatch>On.
