Cause and/or corrective actions

• Moisture condensation has occurred.

mRemove the cassette and leave the camcorder for at

least 1 hour. (p. 91)

• Reset the date and time. (p. 84)

• The cassette was ejected after you recorded on it.

mThe End Search function will not activate until you

make a new recording after reinserting the cassette.

• The POWER switch is set to CAMERA or OFF.

mSet it to VTR. (p. 23)

• The tape has run out.

mRewind the tape or use a new one. (p. 23)

• STEADYSHOT is set to OFF in the menu system.

mSet it to ON. (p. 52)

• The SteadyShot function does not work when the wide
