Step 2: Setting the VCR to operate with the A/V connecting cable

To edit using the VCR, send the control signal by infrared rays to the remote sensor on the VCR. When you connect using an A/V connecting cable, follow the procedure below, steps (1) to (4), to send the control signal correctly.

(1) Set the IR SETUP code

1Set the POWER switch to VCR on your camcorder.

2Turn the power of the connected VCR on,

then set the input selector to LINE.

When you connect a video camera recorder, set its power switch to VCR/VTR.

3Press MENU to display the menu settings.

4 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select , then press the dial.

5 For DCR-TRV240E/TRV241E:

Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select VIDEO EDIT, then press the dial.

For DCR-TRV340E/TRV341E/TRV740E: Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select TAPE in VIDEO EDIT, then press the dial.

6 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select EDIT SET, then press the dial.

7 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select CONTROL, then press the dial.

8 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR, then press the dial.

9 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR SETUP.

0 Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select IR SETUP code number of your VCR, then press the dial.

Stap 2: De videorecorder gereedmaken voor kopiëren via een audio/ video-aansluitsnoer

Voor het monteren met de videorecorder zendt u het bedieningssignaal via infrarode stralen naar de afstandsbedieningssensor van de videorecorder.

Als u de apparaten aansluit via een audio/video- aansluitsnoer dient u de onderstaande instelprocedures van (1) t/m (4) te volgen, om te zorgen dat het infrarode bedieningssignaal juist wordt doorgegeven.

(1) Instellen van de IR SETUP code

1Zet de POWER schakelaar van de camcorder in de “VCR” stand.

2Zet de aangesloten videorecorder aan en zet de ingangskeuzeschakelaar op “LINE”.

Als u een andere videocamera/recorder

aansluit, zet u de aan/uit-schakelaar daarvan in de “VCR/VTR” stand.

3Druk op de MENU toets om het instelmenu te

laten verschijnen.

4Draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop,

stel in op en druk de regelknop in.

5Voor de DCR-TRV240E/TRV241E:

Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop in op VIDEO EDIT en druk de regelknop in.

Voor de DCR-TRV340E/TRV341E/TRV740E: Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC

regelknop in op “TAPE” onder VIDEO EDIT en druk de regelknop in.

6Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop in op EDIT SET en druk de regelknop in.

7Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC

regelknop in op CONTROL en druk de regelknop in.

8Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop in op IR en druk de regelknop in.

9Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop in op IR SETUP en druk de

regelknop in.

0Kies met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop de juiste IR SETUP afstandsbedieningscode voor uw merk videorecorder en druk de regelknop in.

De juiste afstandsbedieningscode vindt u onder “Keuze van de IR SETUP code” (op blz. 102).
