Setting a Camera by Using Generic Camera

This version of NSR supports the “Generic Camera.” NSR obtains various information data from a camera when registering it and connects to the camera based on this information. Because the protocol and procedures for obtaining information from a Generic Camera are standardized, cameras sold in future will also be supported, provided that they follow the standard.

Note

This version of NSR supports Generic Camera version 1.

Operation flow when using Generic Camera

The procedure for registering and setting up a camera with the Generic Camera option is slightly different from regular camera registration. First, you must select a combination of functions and then perform setup. When you select the combination of functions, the setting range for each item is determined automatically. Therefore it is important to select the combination of functions carefully with regard to the intended use of the camera.
