Parameter List Length: The contents of this field specify the length, in bytes, of the parameter list that will be transferred from the initiator to the logical unit.
If the 3rdPty bit is ZERO, the PARAMETER LIST LENGTH field is ignored.
This field value must be 0000h when LongID is set to 0b. The field value must be eight when LongID is set to 1b.
If LongID is set to 0b and Parameter List Length is not ZERO, the command is terminated with a CHECK CONDITION status and the Sense Key is set to ILLEGAL REQUEST. The Additional Sense Code is set to
INVALID FIELD IN CDB.
If LongID is set to 1b and Parameter List Length is not eight, the command is terminated with a CHECK CONDITION status and the Sense Key is set to ILLEGAL REQUEST. The Additional Sense Code is set to
INVALID FIELD IN CDB.
When the LongID bit is set to 1b, the parameter list has the format shown in Table
