Assigning Speed Dial Numbers
With this feature you can dial Contacts directory entries with
one keypress for locations 2–9. For details on how to make
calls using speed dial numbers, see “Using Speed Dialing”on
page 42.
To assign a speed dial number:
1. Select >Contacts > Speed Dial #s.
2. Selectan available speed dial location and press .
3. Selectan entry from the list and press .
4. Selectthe phone number you wantto set as a speed dial
number and press .

1. From standby mode, press Contacts(rightsoftkey).
2. Scroll to an entry in the Contacts listand press .
3. Selectthe phone number you wantto set as a speed dial
number and press Options(rightsoftkey) >Set Speed Dial.
4. Selectan available speed dial location and press .
Note: If you attemptto assign an already in-use speed dial location to a new
phone number, a dialog will appear asking if you wish to overwrite the
existing speed dial assignment. SelectYes to assign the location to the new
phone number. To delete the previous speed dial assignment, selectReset.
