Dialing Options
Dialing options are displayed when you press Options(right
softkey) after entering numbers in the phone’s standby mode.
To selectan option, highlightit and press .
vAbbrev. Dialto dial the phone number in your Contacts list
thatends with the digits you entered. (See “Using
Abbreviated Dialing”on page 43.)
vCallto dial the phone number.
vCall:Speaker Onto dial the phone number in speakerphone
mode.
vSend Messageto send an SMS Textmessage (page 181), or
aPicture Mail message (page 153).
vSave Phone#tosave the phone number in your Contacts
list.(See “Saving a Phone Number”on page 38.)
vFindto display Contacts listentries that end with the
digits you entered. (See “Finding a Phone Number”on
page 39.)
vHard Pauseto insert a hard pause. (See “Dialing and
Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses”on page 40.)
v2-Sec. Pauseto insert a two-second pause. (See “Dialing
and Saving Phone Numbers With Pauses”on page 40.)
vHyphento insert a hyphen. (Hyphens are generally for
visual appeal only; they are notnecessary when entering
numbers.)
Tip:Tospeed dial a phone number,press and hold the appropriate speed dial
key(locations 2-9). See “Assigning Speed Dial Numbers”on page 112.
