UsingVoice-Activated Dialing

In addition to Sprint Voice Command (see page 225), you can use a voice dial tag to automatically dial a phone number in your Contacts. (A voice dial tag is a command you record and use to place calls without using the keypad.) Your phone can store up to 30 voice dial tags.

Note: Please settheVoice Promptfeature (see page 53) to On before using theVoice-Activated Dialing so thatyou can hear the voice instruction from the phone.The defaultsetting is Off.

Making a Call UsingVoice-Activated Dialing

Withthephoneopen:

1.Press and hold , , or .

2.Follow the system prompts and recite the entry’s Voice Dial tag into your phone’s microphone.

Withthephoneclosed:

1.Press and hold .

2.Follow the system prompts and recite the entry’s Voice Dial tag into your phone’s microphone.

Note:

To use theVoice Dial function, you musthave a stored entry for VoiceDial. (See “ProgrammingVoice DialTags”below.)

ProgrammingVoice DialTags

Toprogramavoicedialtag:

1.Select a Contacts entry to which you would like to add a

voice dial tag and press . (See “Finding Contacts Entries”on page 107.)

2.Select a phone number, and then select Options (right softkey) >SetVoiceTag>Add.
