Adjusting the Phone’sVolume Settings

You can adjust your phone’s volume settings to suit your needs and your environment.

Adjustingtheringervolume

Toadjusttheringervolume:

1.Select >Settings>Sounds>Volume>Ringer.

2.Using the navigation key, choose a volume level and select Done (left softkey).

Tip:

You can make the ringer vibrate atany volume level by checking the box nextto AlwaysVibrate.

You can adjustthe ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume during a call) by using the volume key on the leftside of your phone.

AdjustingtheAlertVolume

This setting controls the alert volume for Ready Link,Voicemail, Messaging, and Calendar/Alarm. You can set the alert volume separately from the ringer volume setting.

Toadjustthealertvolume:

1.Select >Settings>Sounds>Volume>AdvancedRinger.

2.Select ReadyLink, Voicemail, Messaging, or Calendar/Alarm.

3.Using the navigation key, select SeparateVol.

4.Press the navigation key right or left to choose a volume level, and select Done (left softkey).
