1.Select >Settings>Others>TTY. (An informational message will be displayed.)

2.Read the disclaimer and select OK (left softkey).

3.Select Enableto turn TTY mode on.

Note: InTTY Mode, your phone will display theTTY access icon.

IfTTY mode is enabled, the audio quality of non-TTY devices connected to the headsetjack may be impaired.

WARNING 911EmergencyCalling

Sprintrecommends thatTTY users make emergency calls by other means, includingTelecommunications Relay Services (TRS), analog cellular, and landline communications.WirelessTTY calls to 911 may be corrupted when received by public safety answering points (PSAPs), rendering some communications unintelligible.The problem encountered appears related toTTY equipmentor software used by PSAPs. This matter has been broughtto the attention of the FCC, and the wireless industry and the PSAP community are currently working to resolve this.
