Installation from the CD-ROM

The following describes how to install the printer driver from the CD-ROM.

SUPPLEMENTS:

This manual describes settings for Windows 95. The setting details are the same when Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP is used.

To install the printer driver on Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, “Full Control” access rights are necessary. A log on must be performed as a member of the Administrators or Power Users group. For further details on access rights, see the Windows manual.

NOTE:

Before installing the printer drivers, please be sure to exit from all other programs in Windows.

1Insert the Printer kit CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

The menu screen appears.

If the menu screen is not automatically displayed, or when the printer driver is installed via the network, double-click on “TOSHIBA_e- STUDIO16_20_25.exe” in the Menu folder of the CD-ROM, which is found in Windows Explorer.

2Click on a language of your Operating System.
