USING THE MAP in Windows

For Windows, there is a utility to automatically search the printer on a network and browse the MAP.

 

Required Environments

MAP can be used in the following environment.

OS:

Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000,

 

Windows XP

Protocols:

IPX/SPX and TCP/IP must be installed.

 

For Windows 95/98/Me, just install TCP/IP. It does not have to be set up.

WWW Browser:

Internet Explorer 3.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later.

SUPPLEMENT:

If the browser is configured to use a proxy server, either disable the browser's proxy setting or add the NIC's IP address to the browser's no proxy list.

Install MAP

1 Insertdrive. the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM

The menu screen appears.

If the menu screen is not automatically displayed, or when the MAP is installed via the network, double-click on “TOSHIBA_e- STUDIO16_20_25.exe” in the Menu folder of the CD-ROM or network drive, which is found in Windows Explorer.

Click on a language of your Operating

System.

MAP

Click on [Setup utilities].
