3.1 The Diagnostic Test
This chapter explains how to use the Diagnostic Test program to test the functions of the
computer’s hardware modules. The Diagnostic Test Program is stored on the Diagnostic Disk
NOTE: To start the diagnostics, follow these steps:
1. Check all cables for loose connections.
2. Exit any application you may be using and close Windows.
The Diagnostic Test program consists of the following two functions:
Repair Main (T&D)
Repair initial config set
The Repair Main (T&D) consists of the following eight functions:

HEAD CLEANING
LOG UTILITIES
RUNNING TEST
FDD UTILITIES
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
EXIT TO MS-DOS
SETUP
The DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU contains the following twelve functional tests:
