Answering system operation
“Memory is full,” is announc ed if you record a memo when the memor y is
full.
Each memo can be up to four minutes in l ength.
Memos shorter than one se cond are not recorded.

Delete all messages
To delete all messages with the tel ephone base:
Press X/DELETE whe n the phone is not in use. The telephone announces,
“To delete all old messages, press DELETE again.” Press X/ DELETE again.
All previously heard messages are erased an d the telephone announces, “All
old messages deleted.”
To delete all messages with a handse t:
Press MENU/SELECT to show t he menu when the handset is not in use.
Press MENU/SELECT to s elect >ANS. SYSTEM.
Press or to select >DEL ALL OLD, then press MEN U/SELECT.
The handset shows DELETE ALL MES SAGES? PRESS SELECT TO
CONFIRM. Press MENU /SELECT to conrm your selec tion.
Record and play memos
Memos are your own recorded messages use d as reminders for yourself or
others using the same answering system. You can record your own memos
using a system handset. Playback and delete them in the sa me way as
incoming messages.
Record a memo
Press MENU/SELECT to show t he menu when the handset is not in use.
Press MENU/SELECT to s elect >ANS. SYSTEM.
Press or to select >RECORD MEMO, then press M ENU/SELECT.
The handset announces,

“Record after the tone. Press 5 when you are

done.”

After the tone, speak towards the microphone of t he handset.
Press 5 when nished recording. The hand set announces,

“Recorded.”
