Answering system operation
If you do not press any keys after you enter the rem ote access code, all new
messages play. If there are no new message s, all old messages play.
Once the new messages have played, th e telephone announces the help
menu options. If you do not press any key wi thin 20 seconds, the remote
access call automatical ly disconnects.
When the answering system is turne d off, the telephone answers after 10
rings, and announces, “ Please enter your remote access code.”

Remote accessA two-digit securit y code is required to access the answering system
remotely from any touch tone telephone. The preset co de is 19; see
Remote code on page 11 to change it.
Dial your telephone number from any touch tone telep hone.
When the system plays your announcement, enter the two -digit
security code.
You can also enter one of the following remote commands.
Hang up or press 8 to end the call.
