Warranty
What does this limit ed warranty cover?
The manufacturer of this V Tech Product warrants to the ho lder of a valid proof of purcha se
(“Consumer” or “yo u”) that the Product and a ll accessories provid ed in the sales package
(“Product”) are f ree from defects in materia l and workmanship, pursua nt to the following terms
and conditions, whe n installed and used norm ally and in accordance w ith the Product operati ng
instructions. Thi s limited warranty extend s only to the Consumer for Pro ducts purchased and us ed
in the United States of Amer ica and Canada.
What will VTech do if the Pr oduct is not free from d efects in material s and workmanship
during the limited war ranty period (“Ma terially Defecti ve Product”)?
During the limited warra nty period, VTech’s authorize d service represent ative will repair or replace
at VTech’s option, without char ge, a Materially Defective Pr oduct. If we repair the Prod uct, we may
use new or refurbished re placement parts. If we ch oose to replace the Produ ct, we may replace
it with a new or refurbishe d Product of the same or simil ar design. We will retain defe ctive parts,
modules, or equipmen t. Repair or replacement of t he Product, at VTech’s option, is you r exclusive
remedy. VTech will return the rep aired or replacement Prod ucts to you in working cond ition. You
should expect the repa ir or replacement to take appr oximately 30 days.
How long is the limited w arranty period?
The limited warranty pe riod for the Product exte nds for ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchas e.
If VTech repairs or replace s a Materially Defective Prod uct under the terms of thi s limited warranty,
this limited warranty a lso applies to the repaire d or replacement Produc t for a period of either (a) 90
days from the date the repair ed or replacement Produc t is shipped to you or (b) the time rem aining
on the original one-ye ar warranty; whichever is lo nger.
What is not covered by thi s limited warranty?
This limited warranty d oes not cover:
1. Product that h as been subjected to misus e, accident, shipping o r other physical damage,
improper installati on, abnormal operatio n or handling, neglect, i nundation, re, water or other
liquid intrusion; or
2. Product that h as been damaged due to repai r, alteration or modication b y anyone other than
an authorized servic e representative of VTech; or
3. Product to the ex tent that the problem expe rienced is caused by sign al conditions, networ k
reliability, or cable or an tenna systems; or
4. Product to the ex tent that the problem is ca used by use with non-VTech acce ssories; or
5. Product who se warranty/quality sti ckers, product serial n umber plates or electroni c serial
numbers have been removed, a ltered or rendered illegi ble; or
6. Product purc hased, used, servi ced, or shipped for repair fr om outside the United St ates of
America or Canada, or us ed for commercial or inst itutional purposes (in cluding but not limited
to Products used for rent al purposes); or
7. Product retur ned without a valid proof of p urchase (see item 2 below); or
8. Charges for ins tallation or set up, adjustm ent of customer controls , and installation or repai r of
systems outside the uni t.
