Battery
It takes up to 16 hours for t he battery to be fully c harged. When it is ful ly charged, you can
expect the followin g performance:
Operation Operating time
While in handset use (talk ing*) Up to eight hours
While in speakerphone m ode (talking*) Up to ve hours
While not in use (standby**) Up to six days
*Operating times vary d epending on your actual us e and the age of the battery.
**Handset is not charg ing or in use.
The battery needs ch arging when:
A new battery is instal led in the handset.
The handset beeps.
A battery is properl y installed and the scree n is blank.
LOW BATTERY or PLACE IN CHAR GER shows on the handset sc reen.

Do not open or mutilate the ba ttery(ies). Released elec trolyte is corrosive a nd may cause burns
or injury to the eyes or skin. T he electrolyte may be toxi c if swallowed.
Exercise care in handli ng batteries in order not to cre ate a short circuit with co nductive materials.
Charge the battery(ie s) provided with or identi ed for use with this produc t only in accordance
with the instructio ns and limitations spec ied in this manual.
Observe proper pol arity orientation bet ween the battery and met allic contacts.
To prevent re or shock hazard, do no t expose this product to wate r or any type of moisture.
