■Selecting decoders for 2-channel
sources (surround decode mode)
Use this feature to play back sources with selected decoders. You can play back
Set the operation mode selector to FAMP and then press SSUR. DECODE repeatedly on the
remote control to select the surround decode mode.
You can select desired surround decoder modes depending on the type of source you are playing and your personal preference.

You can change the decoder parameter settings in “Stereo/ Surround” (page 80).

■Selecting decoders used with MOVIE
sound field programs
You can select one of the following decoder types for use with the MOVIE sound field programs (except “Mono Movie”).
