Note: Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) and Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) define a virtual circuit.

The following table describes the fields in this screen.

Encapsulation | Select the encapsulation type your ISP uses from the Encapsulation |

Multiplex | Select the multiplexing method used by your ISP from the Multiplex |

VPI | Enter the Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) assigned to you. This field may already be |

VCI | Enter the Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) assigned to you. This field may already be |
| configured. |

Select Yes to enter specific IP information from your Internet service provider. Enter your Internet access information exactly as your service provider gave it to you.
IP Address | Enter the IP address of the |

Subnet Mask | Enter the subnet mask in dotted decimal notation. |
| Refer to the appendix to calculate a subnet mask if you are implementing subnetting. |

Default Gateway | You must specify a gateway IP address (supplied by your ISP) when you use ENET |
| ENCAP in the Encapsulation field in the previous screen. |

Primary DNS Server | Enter the primary DNS server IP address for the |

Secondary DNS | Enter the secondary DNS server IP address for the |
