Chapter 7 System Screens
Note: Regardless of how you configure this screen, you still use the local system password to log in via the console port (for internal use only).

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Enable Admin at | Select this check box to have the device authenticate management |
Local | logins to the device. |

Use old setting | Select this to have the NWA use the local management password |
| already configured on the device (“1234” is the default). |
|
|
Use new setting | Select this if you want to change the local management password. |
|
|
Old Password | Type in your existing system password (“1234” is the default |
| password). |
|
|
New Password | Type your new system password (up to 31 characters). Note that as |
| you type a password, the screen displays an asterisk (*) for each |
| character you type. |
|
|
Retype to | Retype your new system password for confirmation. |
Confirm |

Enable Admin on | Select this (and configure the other fields in this section) to have a |
RADIUS | RADIUS server authenticate management logins to the NWA. |
|
|
Use old setting | Select this to have a RADIUS server authenticate management |
| logins to the NWA using the RADIUS username and password |
| already configured on the device. |
|
|
Use new setting | Select this if you want to change the RADIUS username and |
| password the NWA uses to authenticate management logon. |
|
|
User Name | Enter the username for this user account. This name can be up to |
| 31 ASCII characters long, including spaces. |
