operation

Several different methods of cleaning are available. Choose the method best suited for your cleaning project.

High Pressure Cleaning:

Squeeze the high pressure trigger located beneath the rear handle. This will provide a spray of water at high pressure.

Low Pressure (High Flow) Cleaning:

Move the low pressure (high flow) lever on top of the trigger han- dle forward. This will provide a spray of water at low pressure.

NOTE: When using low pressure (high flow) cleaning only, depress the high pressure trigger lock-out to prevent ac- cidental depressing of the high pressure trigger.

Combination Cleaning/Rinsing:

To apply a high pressure stream and rinse the area with water at the same time (for instance, in a heavily soiled area), move the low pressure (high flow) lever forward and depress the high pressure trigger.

NOTE: Any cleaning or rinsing method using high pressure spray requires that the on/off switch be in the ON position. For methods using low pressure only, the switch may be in either the ON or OFF position.

USING the NOZZLES

See Figure 15.

Before starting any cleaning job, determine the best nozzle for the job. The 25˚ nozzle is for general purpose or large surfaces and the turbo nozzle gives up to 50% more clean- ing power.

caution:

NEVER change nozzles without locking the lock-out on the trigger handle.

nTurn off the pressure washer and shut off the water sup- ply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.

nEngage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing up on the lock-out until it clicks into the slot.

nPull back the quick-connect collar.

nPush the nozzle into place in the spray wand.

nPush the collar forward so that the nozzle is secured properly. Check to see that the nozzle is secure.

To disconnect a nozzle from the trigger handle once the cleaning job is complete:

nTurn off the pressure washer and shut off the water sup- ply. Pull trigger to release water pressure.

nEngage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing up on the lock-out until it clicks into the slot.

nRemove the nozzle by placing hand over nozzle then pulling back the quick-connect collar. Place nozzle in the nozzle storage area on the top of the machine.

OPERATING THE PRESSURE WASHER

See Figure 16.

To clean:

nTurn the detergent dial to desired soap level.

nStart the pressure washer and spray the detergent on a dry surface using long, even, overlapping strokes. To prevent streaking, do not allow detergent to dry on the surface.

nSelect the right pressure for the job:

Use low pressure to wash items such as a car or boat.

Use high pressure for jobs such as stripping paint and degreasing the driveway.

Use a combination of high and low pressure (high flow) for heavily soiled areas where constant flushing is de- sired.

NOTE: When using either high pressure or a combination of high and low pressure (high flow), test a small area first to avoid surface damage.

nWhen the injector looks empty and the water begins to run clear, turn off your pressure washer and replace the empty pouch with a new G-Clean detergent pouch.

Additional G-Clean detergent pouches are available at the retailer where you purchased this product in the following styles:

Concrete Cleaner and Degreaser (orange).. AGPWC02

Siding and All Purpose (green)................... APGWC01

Mold Blaster (yellow).................................. APGWC03

NOTE: One pouch of G-Clean detergent will last up to 30 minutes, depending on water tempature.

To rinse:

nTurn dial completely clockwise.

nSpray away from the rinsing surface for approximately 10 seconds to allow any remaining detergent to be flushed from the line.

nStart at the top of the area to be rinsed and work down, overlapping the strokes.

storing the pressure washer

See Figure 17.

When not in use, store the pressure washer indoors in a low traffic area.

nDepress the handle release button. This will allow the handle to retract. If the handle does not lower on its own, apply a light pressure to push the handle down.

NOTE: Do not loosen the locking collar when retracting or extending the handle.

nWhen the pressure washer is needed again, depress and hold the handle release button while pulling up on the handle to restore it to normal operating position.
