Fault (Temperature Warning) Output

The MDriveAC Plus Microstepping features an Open-Drain Fault output located at Pin 19 of connector P1. This is an impending over-temperature and over-temperature fault.

When the internal temperature of the MDriveAC Plus reaches the temperature specified by the WARN_TEMP parameter, the output will pulse at 1 second intervals (1/2 second on, 1/2 second off). When an over-temperature fault state is reached the output will latch on.

The output will remain in the latched condition until a power cycle, or new parameter set from the IMS SPI Mo- tor Interface.
