If the activate process does not complete and the automatic shutdown does not occur, one or more of the activate scripts failed. To recover from this condition, see Recovering from failed installation scripts on page 58.

10.Return the key switch to the position that was used by the customer before the upgrade was started.
11.Enter: boot
12.The system reboots. Ignore any warning messages during the reboot.
