Fax Reception

Received faxes are printed out immediately. If no paper or no ink cartridge is inserted, the device saves incoming fax messages. The _-display flashes. If you insert paper or a new ink cartridge, the saved messages are printed.

If the message memory is full, no additional messages can be received. Follow the specifications in the technical data.

Polling Faxes

With the fax polling function, you can retrieve faxes that lie ready in the dialled device.

Polling Faxes Directly

1Press MENU. RECEPT. SET-UPappears on the display.

2Select using [ POLLING RX.

3Confirm with o.

4Confirm NEW SETTING with o.

5Accept the displayed time using o or enter the time at which the document is to be polled.

6Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad or select a saved entry.

7Confirm with o.

POLL RX appears in the display with the time at which the document is polled.

Modifying the Settings

1Press MENU. RECEPT. SET-UPappears on the display.

2Select using [ POLLING RX.

3Confirm with o.

4Using [ select from the following settings and con- firm using o:

CHANGE—Changes to the time and telephone number

DELETE – Resetting the settings

Selective Spam Filter

You can store ten telephone numbers, which are ignored when a fax is received from them. The device rings but the device does not receive a fax.

Calling Line Identification (CLIP)

For this function to work, the Caller Line Iden- tification (CLIP) must be activated for your tel- ephone connection (country and network dependent).

Assign an Entry

1Press MENU. RECEPT. SET-UPappears on the display.

2Confirm with o. RECEPTION MODE appears on the display.

3Select using [ BLACK LIST.

4 Confirm with o.

5 Select using [ NEW NUMBER.

6 Confirm with o.

7Enter the telephone number from which you do not wish to receive a fax.

8Confirm with o.

9Using [ select if you would like save further entries.

10 You can exit with j.

Modifying an Entry

1Press MENU. RECEPT. SET-UPappears on the display.

2Confirm with o. RECEPTION MODE appears on the display.

3Select using [ BLACK LIST.

4Confirm with o.

5Select using [ MODIFY NUMBER.

6Confirm with o.

7Using [ select the telephone number that you would like to modify.

8Confirm with o.

9Modify the saved number.

10 Confirm with o.

Deleting an Entry

1Press MENU. RECEPT. SET-UPappears on the display.

2Confirm with o. RECEPTION MODE appears on the display.

3Select using [ BLACK LIST.

4 Confirm with o.

5 Select using [ DELETE NUMBER.

6 Confirm with o.

7 Using [ select the number you would like to delete. 8 Confirm with o.

9 Using [ select YES and confirm with o.

Print List

1Press MENU. RECEPT. SET-UPappears on the display.

2Confirm with o. RECEPTION MODE appears on the display.

3Select using [ BLACK LIST.

4Confirm with o.

5Select using [ PRINT LIST.

6Confirm with o. The list is printed.
