SMS Messages to Fax

(Function is not supported in all countries and networks)

You can send SMS messages to a fax number.

1Press _.

2Use [ to select FAX TYPE.

3Confirm with o.

4Enter the text as described under Sending SMS.

5Confirm with o.

6Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad or select a saved entry.

7Confirm with o.

8In some countries you can also send SMS messages to an extension number or sub address.

Select the SMS message to be sent to the main line using [TERMINAL NO. NO and confirm using o..

9Using [select YES to send the message. Select NO to re-edit the message.

10 Press o. The message is sent.

Direct Inward Dialling or Select- ing Sub-address

(Function is not supported in all countries and networks)

With a sub-address, you send an SMS message to a certain fax machine that is connected to a telephone line along with several other devices.

1Press _.

2Confirm SEND SMS with o.

3Enter the text as described under Sending SMS.

4Press o.

5Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad or select a saved entry.

6Confirm with o.

7Using [, select YES to activate the extension or sub address (TERMINAL NO.).

8Confirm with o.

9Enter the direct-inward dialling number or sub address.

10 Confirm with o.

11 Using [select YES to send the message. Select NO to re-edit the message.

12 Press o. The message is sent.

Sending saved SMS

1Press _.

2Using [ select SMS RECEIVED, SMS SENT or

SMS WRITTEN.

3Confirm with o.

4Using [ select DISPLAY LIST.

5Confirm with o.

6Using [ select the SMS that you would like to send.

7Confirm with o.

8Using [ select SEND.

9Confirm with o. The selected SMS is sent.

Receiving SMS

SMSs received are saved and can be printed subsequently. Your device can store up to 30 SMSs.

Reading SMS

When a new SMS is received, the _ symbol lights up.

1Press _.

2Select using [ SMS RECEIVED.

3Confirm with o.

4Select using [ DISPLAY LIST.

5Confirm with o.

6Using [ select the SMS that you would like to read.

7Press >. The SMS is displayed.

8Press u to stop the automatic display.

9Select another SMS using [.

Editing SMS

You can add text to an SMS and save.

1When reading the SMS, press o.

2Select using [ EDIT.

3Confirm with o.

4Add or delete characters.

5Confirm with o. The SMS is saved.

Forwarding SMS

You can forward the read SMS to other persons.

1For the relevant SMS, press o.

2Select using [ SEND.

3Confirm with o.

4Enter the desired number using the numeric keypad or select a saved entry.

5Confirm with o. The SMS is forwarded.

Calling the sender of the SMS

You can call the sender of the SMS.

1For the relevant SMS, press o.

2Using [ select TELEPHONE CALL.

3Confirm with o. The connection is established.

4Pick up the handset, when LIFT HANDSET appears on the display.

5Hang up to end the call.
