AUTOREPEAT RECORDING

Autorepeat Recording

The same tape can be recorded over many times.

œFollow the Before starting steps, under “NORMAL RECORDING”.

1Press the MENU button to display the MAIN MENU.

2Turn the JOG dial to select the “3.GENERAL SET” line, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

øThe (GENERAL SET) menu appears.

3Turn the JOG dial until the “TAPE END MODE” setting is highlighted, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

4Turn the JOG dial to set to “REPEAT1” or “REPEAT2” (Refer to “Setting the Mode at the End of the Tape.” on page 22), then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

5Press the MENU EXIT button.

øThe REPEAT indicator lights.

NOTES:

œIf there is an alarm trigger during autorepeat recording, “A” is displayed on the digital display and alarm recording will take place. (Refer to “ALARM RECORDING” on page 24.)

œIf the “TAPE END MODE” setting is “REPEAT1”, the REPEAT indicator will go off if there is an alarm trigger. After alarm recording, the recording will continue to the end of the tape then it will be rewound to the beginning and stop. “OFF” will be displayed on the digital display.

To turn off the “OFF” display, press the STOP, EJECT or PLAY button or turn the SHUTTLE ring.

œIf “AL” appears on the digital display and the “TAPE END MODE” setting is “REPEAT1”, autorepeat recording is not possible.

6Press the REC/PLAY SPEED l (or j) button to set the recording speed mode.

7Press the REC button.

øRecording starts. When the tape end is reached, the VCR will rewind it to the beginning, and recording will resume.

øWhen the end of the tape is reached, “OFF” will be displayed and TAPE END OUT terminal output will 0 V, until the rewinding operation starts.
