ALARM RECORDING

Alarm Recording Reset Function

To stop the recording of an alarm, close the connection between the ALARM RESET IN terminal and the COM terminal during alarm recording.

Alarm Recording Counter Display

œDuring alarm recording, “A” will be flashing on the digital display.

œIf a superimpose display is being displayed and “ALARM COUNT” has been set to “Y” in the (DISPLAY/SW OUT SET) menu, the number of alarm recordings will flash on the monitor screen.

œThe maximum display number of alarm recordings is “999”. At the next alarm recording the counter will indicate “000”.

œWhen the (ALARM LOG) menu appears, press the MENU RESET button to reset the alarm counter to “000” (all the data of the (ALARM LOG) menu is reset).

Connections to the ALARM IN Terminal

œAlarm input signal

Connect a make-contact (no voltage) switch between the ALARM IN and COM terminals.

Checking the Alarm Recordings Time

1Press the MENU button to display the MAIN MENU.

2Turn the JOG dial to select the “9.OTHERS” line, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

øThe (OTHERS) menu appears.

3Turn the JOG dial to select the “ALARM LOG” line, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

øThe (ALARM LOG) menu appears.

øThe number of alarm recordings, and the 10 most recent alarm recording times are displayed.

œContinue turning the JOG dial to display the next (or previous) 10 alarm recording entries. When the number of alarm recording entries reaches 100, the older ones are erased as new ones are memorized.

4Press the MENU EXIT button.

NOTE:

œIf the MENU RESET button is pressed while the (ALARM LOG) menu is displayed, the displayed data is erased. “AL” will be erased from the digital display.
