PROGRAM TIMER RECORDING

Setting the Holidays

By setting the holidays, timer recording will be conducted on those days, as set for Sundays.

1Press the MENU button to display the MAIN MENU.

2Turn the JOG dial to select the “8.HOLIDAY SET” line, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

øThe (HOLIDAY SET) menu appears.

3Turn the JOG dial to select the desired line, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

4Turn the JOG dial to set month of the holiday, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

5Turn the JOG dial to set day of the holiday, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

øRepeat steps 3 to 5 to set up to 20 holidays.

6Press the MENU EXIT button.

NOTES:

œIf setting holidays, be sure that a timer recording is set for Sunday. If not, this function will not operate.

œIf a timer recording for Sundays is entered, the holidays timer recording will not function if the program timer recording mode is set to “N”.

œIf timer recording has been set for 24 hours or more, after midnight the recording will be carried out according to the (TIMER SET) menu settings, even if holiday timer recording has been set.

œTo erase a setting, follow the same procedure as above, but at step 4 and 5, enter -- instead of a setting.

Changing a Program Timer Recording

1Follow steps 1 and 2 under “PROGRAM TIMER RECORDING” on page 27.

2Turn the JOG dial until the setting (line) to be changed is highlighted, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

3Turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise, until the setting to correct is flashing.

4Turn the JOG dial, to correct the setting.

5Press the MENU EXIT button, then press the TIMER button.

To Cancel a Program Timer Recording

1Follow steps 1 and 2 under “PROGRAM TIMER RECORDING” on page 27.

2Turn the JOG dial until the setting (line) to be canceled is highlighted, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

3Turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise, until “Y” is flashing.

4Turn the JOG dial, to select “N”.

5Press the MENU EXIT button, then press the TIMER button.

To cancel all program timer recordings

1Follow steps 1 and 2 under “PROGRAM TIMER RECORDING” on page 27.

2Press the MENU RESET button.

øAll programmed timer recordings are erased.

3Press the MENU EXIT button.
