SYNCHRONIZATION CONTROL

When two or more VCRs are connected together, the VCRs can be operated simultaneously just by operating the VCR that has been set to “MASTER”, without using a system controller (sold separately).

There are two modes available: operator mode and administrator/installer mode. The operations that can be carried out in each mode are different.

NOTES:

œ The operation and setting can only be carried out with

the button of this unit.

œ Use cables with a thickness of A.W.G.24 (0.2 mm2) or

more and a length no more than 1.5 m to connect

VCRs.

œ It is recommended that you do not connect any more

than 10 VCRs together.

œ Only one VCR can be specified at the master unit.

œ Do not mix operator mode and administrator/installer

mode in the same installation.

œ Do not connect the VCRs in a loop.

œ “TERMINAL SET” in the (OTHERS) menu should

always be set to “SET1”.

œ The VCR operation may not e completely

synchronized depending on the VCR statuses, the

operating environment and the operation timing. It is

Operator Mode

This mode lets you carry out basic operations (ejecting, recording, stopping, rewinding and changing the recording speed mode).

NOTE:

œThis mode will not work correctly unless the VCRs are in the same initial state.

1Press the MENU button to display the MAIN MENU.

2Turn the JOG dial to select the “4.WARNING OUT/CONTR. SET” line, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

3Turn the JOG dial until the “OPERATION” setting is highlighted, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

4Turn the JOG dial to select the desired operation, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.
