SYNCHRONIZATION CONTROL

Setting the Cassette Eject Mode

Operator mode can be used to eject cassettes for all VCRs or for specified VCRs.

1Follow steps 1 to 4 under “Operator Mode”.

2Turn the JOG dial until the “EJECT MODE” setting is highlighted, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

3Turn the JOG dial to select the desired cassette eject mode, then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

EJECT1 . . . . . . . . . . . . The cassette is ejected only if the VCR is not in recording or recording pause mode.

EJECT2 . . . . . . . . . . . . The cassette is ejected only if the VCR is in stop mode.

4Press the MENU EXIT button.

Administrator/Installer Mode

This mode lets you carry out basic operations (ejecting, recording, stopping, rewinding and changing the recording speed mode) and also make menu settings.

NOTES:

œThis mode will not work correctly unless the VCRs are in the same initial state.

œMenu settings will not work correctly unless the menu settings for the VCRs are the same. Set the menu settings for each VCR to the initial setting before using this mode to change the settings.

œIf a power failure occurs, make the settings again.

1While holding the STOP button, press the STILL/PAUSE button for 3 seconds or more on the VCR that is set to be the master VCR.

ø“SC” will flash on the digital display.

“SC” flashes (master) . The menu settings can be changed for the VCR being operated and all VCRs that are connected after it.

œThis mode can be used regardless of the “OPERATION” setting in the (WARNING OUT/CONTROL SET) menu.

“SC” off (slave) . . . . . . The menu settings can be changed for only the VCR being operated.

œTo cancel the master mode, press and hold the STOP button and then press the STILL/PAUSE button.
