ON: The black and white mode is selected.

OFF: The color mode is selected.

Note: Selecting the color mode is disabled if ALARM IN 4 is set to B/W on the Special 1 menu.

2.If you have selected AUTO, press the CAM (SET) key to open the BW AUTO submenu.

3.Select HIGH or LOW for the threshold level at which the camera automatically switches to BW or color mode. Default: HIGH.

The illuminance shown below is based on the assumption that the camera is used in an area lit by halogen lamps, and that AGC on the menu is set to MID.

HIGH: approximately 6 lx

LOW: approximately 2.5 lx

Note: When near-infrared lamps are used, the image may be displayed out of focus and mode switching may not per- form automatically.

4.Move the I cursor to set DURATION TIME. Default: 30 seconds The camera determines whether to switch the mode when the time set for holding a picture motionless on the screen has elapsed.

Available duration times: (S) 10 s 30 s 60 s 300 s (L) Note: A pan/tilt, zoom or focus operation will restart the hold-

ing time.

(6)Black Burst Setting [BURST (BW)]

Move the cursor to BURST (BW) and select ON or OFF by moving the joystick to the right or left. Default: ON.

ON: The burst signal is supplied along with the black and white composite video.

OFF: The burst signal is not output.

Note: It is recommended to select ON usually.

(7)To Restore the Camera Default Position (REFRESH)

Move the cursor to REFRESH by using the joystick and press the F2 button of the WV-CU550B.

For the WV-RM70, WV-CU360 or WV-CU161, keep pressing the Right and Left switches simultaneously for 2 seconds or more.

(8) Camera Resetting (CAMERA RESET)

Move the cursor to CAMERA RESET by using the joystick and press the F3 button of the WV-CU550B.

The camera is reset to the factory default settings.

For the WV-RM70, keep pressing the Right, Left and Set switches simultaneously for 2 seconds or more. For the WV-CU360 or WV- CU161, keep pressing the Right and Left switches and the numer- ic button 5 simultaneously for 2 seconds or more.
