(9)Digital Noise Reduction (DNR)

DNR may be used to improve quality under low light condi- tions. There are 4 levels of DNR, which may be selected depending on local site conditions. Factory default setting: LOW2

You may need to try different settings to find the most suitable conditions for your application.

Move the cursor to DNR and select LOW1, LOW2, HIGH1 or HIGH2 by moving the joystick to the right or left.

LOW1: DNR level is low. The after-image remains.

LOW2: DNR level is low. The after-image is reduced.

HIGH1: DNR level is high. The after-image remains.

HIGH2: DNR level is high. The after-image is reduced.

(10)To Close the SPECIAL2 Menu

Move the cursor to RET and press the CAM (SET) key. The setup menu appears on the monitor screen.

Reset to the Factory Default Settings

Any of the above settings plus the ALC/MANUAL level control and phase adjustments can be reset to the factory default settings by placing the cursor over the desired mode and then pressing the F2 button of the WV-CU550B.

For the WV-RM70, keep pressing the Right and Left switches simultaneously for 2 seconds or more.

RS485 Setup

Initial Camera Communication Parameters

In an RS485 chain, the matrix switcher, PC, controllers and cam- eras should be set to the same protocol and parameters for com- munication. Confirm the system protocol and parameters prior to setting the communication parameters for the camera.

The initial communication parameters for WV-CW864 are shown on the RS485 setup menu below. Other than the on-screen setup parameters, the 4-bit DIP switch may be used to select 2-line (Half Duplex) or 4-line (Full Duplex) communication.

Changing the Camera Communication Parameters

You can remotely control this camera by using a specified exten- sion unit such as a computer with a modem.

1.Display the SET UP MENU. Move the cursor to RS485 SET UP and press the CAM (SET) key. The RS485 SET UP menu appears on the monitor.

2.Move the cursor to the item and select the parameter by mov- ing the joystick to the right or left.
