CO2 PULSE VALVE REPLACEMENT

The CO2 valves, shown in Figure 46, are located near the center of the unit and are mounted on a bracket to the bottom of the chassis. They control the injection of CO2 with the syrup/water combination to provide the final mixture for the prod- uct. There are one of these solenoids for each barrel in the system. When working in this area, care should be taken not to damage or misalign the CO2 metering orfice. To replace one of these valves, perform the procedure in Table 48.

Remove the rear cover and side panels.

Carefully remove the tubing from the rear of the valve.

Remove the mounting tie-wrap from the rear of the valve.

Replace the valve.

Reverse the procedure to reinstall the valve into the unit.
