2.8.Hard Drive Installation
2.8.1Hard Drive Installation Overview
WARNING!
1.Handle hard drives with extreme care. Hard drives are very delicate. Dropping a drive onto a hard surface (even from a short distance) and hitting or touching the circuits on the drives with your tools may all cause damage to drives.
2.Observe all ESD prevention methods when handling hard drives.
3.Only use screws supplied with the drive canisters. Longer screws can damage the disk drives.

The hard drives and drive trays should only be installed into the subsystem after the subsystem has been mounted into a rack cabinet. If the hard drives are installed first, the subsystem will be too heavy to lift into position and the possible
