The thresholds in Table 3-9are the default threshold values. To see how to change these values, please refer to the firmware Operation Manual that came with your system.

3.3.2Failed Devices

If any of the following devices fail, the audible alarm will be triggered:

ƒRAID controller module

ƒCooling modules

ƒPSU modules

ƒBBU modules

ƒHard drives

ƒTemperature sensors

3.4.I2C Monitoring

The PSUs, cooling modules, temperature sensors, and disk drive failure outputs are monitored through an I2C serial bus. If any of these modules fails, you will be notified through the various methods described above.
