If you are reinstalling the NIC software, click Yes to restart the computer.

Removing DynamicAccess Server Features

Follow the steps in this section to remove DynamicAccess technology server features for your operating system.

Windows NT 4.0

To remove DynamicAccess technology server features:

1From the Start menu, select Settings/Control Panel.

2Double-click the Network icon.

3In the Network window, click the Protocols tab.

4In the Protocols tab, select DAPass Thru Driver Transport.

5Click Remove.

6Follow the prompts to remove the software and reboot the server.

Windows 2000

The Windows 2000 system does not allow you to uninstall the DynamicAccess technology miniport using the Device Manager. To remove DynamicAccess technology server features:

1Launch the Windows 2000 Network and Dial-up Connections window.

2Select a Local Area Connection icon.

3Click the right mouse button and select Properties from the menu. The Local Area Connections Properties window appears.

4Click the General tab.

5In the General window, select DynamicAccess Protocol and click Uninstall.
